Eames Eiffel chair – Some office furniture is equipped with castors that attach to the bottom to allow for easy movement. Most modern wheeled wheels have the ability to turn. Roll independently of each other in any direction. Making them very comfortable for office chairs. If a link wheel breaks, it can be replace without having to buy a new chair. Most wheels come in standard sizes and are available on many office supplies and hardware stores. Chair wheel has easy to remove stems for exchange.

Instructions

Turn the Eames Eiffel chair on its side and remove the old broken link wheel. This will require it to be screwed from the bracket, if it has a threaded pin, or pops out with a screwdriver. Measure the size of the old castor wheel with a thickness and measure tape. There will be a size diameter, such as 7/16 inches, and a stalk length, such as an inch.

Buy a replacement wheel of the same size. If you cannot find one that you need for an office delivery or hardware store, order one from the manufacturer, if possible. Place the new castor wheel in the old console or opening in the Eames Eiffel chair using the same method you used to remove the old one. If it has a threaded pin, screw the new one into the threads. If you had to pop out with a screwdriver, you should be able to push the new one in with your hand.
