Ceiling Curtain Rod Fixing Place Installation

Nov 1st

Ceiling Curtain Rod – It may happen that you do not have the possibility to fix your rod on a side wall. There are several reasons for this: the presence of a shutter box or the proximity of the window frame to the ceiling, for example. You will have to install your rod on the ceiling. Before starting the operation, you must take the exact measurements of the window to hide.

To fix a rod to the ceiling, you need a meter, an electric drill, a concrete drill, dowels, a hammer, a pencil or a marker, fixing screws, a square, and a screwdriver. It is recommended to maintain a distance of 15 centimeters between the wall that supports the window and the ceiling curtain rod to install the curtains. This distance may vary depending on whether you have a shutter box (allow extra margin) or not.

Regarding the height of the curtains, you can determine it as you like by just considering that the starting point at the top is your rod. To install the rod itself, first, attach the ceiling curtain rod brackets to the ends of the window frame. Mark the wall 15 centimeters from the edge of the window frame, then transpose this measurement with the square on the ceiling. Mark a new point 15 centimeters from the corner of the wall and ceiling to the point where the fasteners are place.
